Dark Green Team

Both Blackrock and Greystones fielded several players who were playing their first ever game. Despite this, a high degree of skill and commitment was displayed by both teams. Blackrock kicked off and Greystones immediately went on the attack retaining possession through an impressive number of phases before out half Harry Begley scored a fine try. Greystones took control thereafter and despite a brave effort from the home side, further tries were scored by Joe Phelan, Darren Magee, Conor Doyle, Charlie Byrne, Mike Hayes and Tony Jackson.

This was a fine performance from the Dark Green Team whose set piece, rucking and tackling were strong throughout.
