Dear Member,

It is a great honour to have been elected President for the 2010/2011 season. I thank you most sincerely for extending that privilege to me.

The coming season promises to be very challenging both on and off the field. I have no doubt that we will meet these challenges head on and achieve our goals through unity, hard work and skill.

These challenges could not be taken on without the loyal support of our many sponsors and I’d urge you to use their products and services whenever you can.

On behalf of all of the members, I’d like to extend our very warm wishes to Vincent Byrne after 31 years of service as the Club Steward. We hope to see himself and Margaret at many functions and matches over the coming and subsequent years.

I would like to thank most sincerely the outgoing members of the Executive Committee for their Trojan work over the past few seasons and the welcome on board the newly elected members of the Executive and Chairman Peter Butler for what hopefully will be a memorable year.

I wish every team from the Senior squad under the tutelage of the returning Reggie Corrigan, to the Under 7’s the very best of luck during the season and the we will have a successful, enjoyable and fun year.
