In a bold selection for tomorrows opening match of this season's All Ireland League Danny Kenny has named a side that contains just six of the starters that lined out in the final game of last season.

No fewer than seven players are set to make their AIL debuts, five in the starting line up and two more on the bench. In the front row prop Dewald Bernard from South Africa via Wicklow brings his experience alongside fellow debutant Cian Geraghty who starts at hooker. The evergreen Conor Pearse completes the front row. In the second row we welcome back Paddy Kieran who missed most of last season due to injury, pairing up with Eoin Marmion. The backrow see's the experienced duo of Mick Doyle at eight with Stephen Bourke at six joined by Aussie Jack Barr debuting at seven.

Newly appointed Club Captain, Dave Baker guides the side from his familiar scrum half position and will be joined at half back by Ciaran Foley making his first start at Ten. Jack O'Brien and Peter Ford form a familiar pairing in the centre while Andrew Lynch lines up on the left wing with debutant Robert Brennan is on the right. Matt O'Brien brings his experience at full back.

Robert Byrne and Jack Dooley bring experience to the replacements where they are joined by debutants Nathan Ocampo and Cody Fitzpatrick alongside Daniel Gavin.
